Election results are in from all corners of Christian County.

Billings was home to the closest race in the municipal election. Ward 3 Alderman Scott Gold defeated challenger Melissa Venable 18-17 to win re-election by a single vote.

Results for the election will not be official until they are certified by Christian County Clerk Kay Brown, a process likely to take several days.

The clerk's office will also have to review election results for Clever and Sparta, where write-in results are likely to impact the outcome of elections for seats on the two cities' respective boards of aldermen.

Volunteers from 25 different precincts finished transporting data and supplies to the Christian County Clerk's Office at the Christian County Historic Courthouse in Ozark shortly after 8:30 p.m.

Stay with us as our team here at the Christian County Headliner News will update this page with election returns as they become available. Simply refresh this page periodically as we gather and post results.
