Nixa grad Christian Lance concluded his wrestling career at Nebraska by placing eighth at 285 pounds at the NCAA Championships in Detroit earlier this month.
Lance was 3-3 in his second NCAA Championships appearance. He dropped a 2-0 decision to Iowa's Tony Cassloppi in his final match.
Lance, who was seventh at the Big 10 Championships, finished his senior season with a 19-11 record.
Lance's Cornhuskers career saw him post a 46-27 mark that includes three pins, three wins by technical fall and 10 wins by majority decision.
He was 55-14 at Fort Hays State (Kansas).
Lance was 56-1 and the 2015 Class 4 220 state champion his senior year at Nixa. He holds a bachelor's degree in sociology from Nebraska.
