Missouri voters were denied a fair choice in November 2024 when lawmakers slipped a ban on ranked choice and approval voting into a ballot measure. Amendment (Seven) was framed as a simple declaration that only U.S. citizens can vote, but at the end it quietly prohibited alternative voting systems.
