Beverly May Whobrey Keller Bonner, 87, a lifetime resident of Rogersville, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025.
Beverly was born July 18, 1938, in Rogersville, the daughter of the late Bert and Annabelle (Scott) Whobrey. She was the wife of the late Alton P. Keller who preceded her in death in 1976, and James T. “Jim” Bonner, who preceded her in death in 2009. She was the mother to Jimmy, who preceded her in 2019, and Joanne, who preceded her in 2015.
Beverly is survived by her sons, Robert and Larry, and her daughters, Janice and Kelley, as well as many additional family members.
Beverly opened her home and table to people from far and wide. Her love of cooking was enjoyed and appreciated by many. Her door was always open, the coffee was always hot, the conversation always lively, and you could always count on a fresh baked dessert when you stopped by.
Beverly loved to craft, from wood working to quilts, and was constantly creating something with her hands.
Beverly was an active member at Center Point Church of Christ, where she was a lifetime member. Her faith was important to her and she strived to be the person God desired of her. She loved to laugh, try new things and spend time with family.
Graveside services were held Nov. 6, 2025, at Fulton Cemetery.
A celebration of life will be planned in the summer of 2026.
