Clever’s Maliya Clark and the Lady Jays’ 4 x 200 relay turned in school-record performances at the Girls Nite Out Meet in Springfield on Thursday.
Clark broke her own school record while finishing third in the long jump (17-10 1/4). In addition, she took first in the long jump (36-6 1/4).
The 4 x 200 relay of Jayleign Flood, Sydney Bollenbach, Valerie Cowles and Clark established a new school mark while taking sixth (1:49).
Cowles set a PR while finishing fourth in the high jump (5-3).
Flood was fifth in the 400 (1:01).
Overall, the Lady Jays set 10 PRs.
For Ozark, the Lady Tigers’ 4 x 200 relay finished second (1:47.84), while their 4 x 800 relay was third (10:07) and their 4 x 400 relay was fifth (4:15.91).
Mallory Beets took fifth in the pole vault (10-0), as did Wright in the 100 hurdles (15.78) and 300 hurdles (47.07).
