Norah Clark joined Nixa’s 1,000-point club during the Lady Eagles’ 65-30 Class 6 District 5 first-round win versus Neosho on Thursday.
Clark scored 25 points to up her season scoring average to 16.5 points a game. She has 445 points on the season.
Clark enjoyed 10-of-16 shooting from the field. In addition, she dished out six assists.
Nixa (21-6) went on a 31-1 run over the first and second quarters to go up 35-5.
Brooke Teter contributed six points and nine rebounds.
Laila Grant, who is shooting a team-high 59 percent from the field, scored eight points.
The Lady Eagles advance to meet Kickapoo (21-6), which has won five straight District championships, in semi-final round action Saturday.
