Christian County Sheriff Brad Cole was recently presented with the Defender Award by the American Constitutional Rights Union (ACRU). According to a press release from the ARCU, the award is given to law enforcement officers who “honor their constitutional oath to protect and to serve by working cooperatively with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to protect legal, law-abiding citizens from criminal illegal aliens.” Cole is the first Missouri sheriff to receive the ARCU Defender Award.
