The Ozark Senior Center holds A Lifetime of Stories from 9:30-11 a.m. Seniors are encouraged to write and share their life stories, memories, and events that they want to pass on to their descendants. The Christian County Lions Club meets at 6:30 p.m. On the first Tuesday, the Lions meet at Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Nixa, located at 111 N. Massey Blvd. in Nixa. On the third Tuesday, the Lions meet at Godfather's Pizza, located at 510 E. South Street in Ozark. Members of the community interested in learning more about the Lions Club are invited to attend meetings.

Saturday, July 25: The Nixa Parks and Recreation Department is hosting Movies in the Park at McCauley Park; the movie shown will be “Minecraft Movie”. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for Movies in the Park, where you can enjoy family-friendly films on the big screen—all for free. Concessions will be available. Event lasts from 6:30 p.m. until 11 p.m.
Friday, July 31: The Ozark Community Center is hosting a night swim at the Grubaugh Pool from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Admission is $4, free to annual OC members.
Saturday, Aug. 8: A benefit auction to support Mayor Misty Holt will be held at Roller Park in Sparta, starting at 8 a.m. In addition to a live auction, there will be live music, food, games, community recognition, door prizes, and raffles. For more information, call Shawna Bush at (417)370-4815.
Saturday, Aug. 15: The Ozark School District, in partnership with the Ozark Chamber of Commerce, is holding the Back to School Bash at the Ozark Innovation Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Back to School Bash helps Ozark students in grades PK–12 start the school year with confidence by providing a backpack, school supplies, hygiene kits, and access to community resources. It's also a great family-friendly event to help kick off the school year. Families must register in advance by visiting www.ozarktigers.org/btsbash.
Sept. 19, 2026: Christian County C.A.R.E.S. is holding their second annual car show at Cassidy United Methodist Church from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. The event will include raffles, a silent auction and entertainment. Cars can be registered online at https://christiancountycares.org. Cassidy United Methodist Church is located at 5151 N. Fremont Road.
The Ozark Senior Center is hosting their Bingo-Rama fundraiser. Doors open at 2:30 p.m.; the event lasts from 3-5 p.m. Admission is a $12 donation at the door. Two Bingo cards will be provided, or guests may bring their own, but ONLY two Bingo cards may be used during play. Refreshments will be available, and there will be prizes for the winners, and a pie auction. The Ozark Senior Center is located at 727 N. 9th Street, across from Finley Farms.
