Mrs. Dora Lee Thompson, 87, a lifelong resident of Republic, died March 13, 2014, in her home. She was born Sept. 19, 1926, in Greene County, three miles west of Republic, the daughter of Berry Wesley and Jewel Dora (Blades) Green.
Dora married Harold I. Thompson Dec. 24, 1946, and was married 47 years before Harold died Jan. 14, 1994. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and infant sister Willavon.
She was a member of the Republic First Baptist Church.
Dora Lee is survived by two children, Jim Thompson and wife Gail, and Wilma Dean Thompson; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; other extended family and friends.
