He was a graduate of Nixa High School and attended Draughon’s Business College in Springfield. Jack served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II in England and France. He was an accounting clerk for Frisco Trucking and Burlington Northern Railroad before retirement. His hobbies included gardening, both vegetables and flowers, and he and Myra enjoyed traveling with Myra’s sisters and their husbands.

Jack is survived by two daughters, Cheryl McClease and husband Greg of Nixa, and Melissa Trusty and husband Scott of Oak Grove. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Sara Rice and husband Jake, Zachary McClease, Alysse Trusty, and Brit Trusty; and great-grandchildren, Lakin and Avery Rice.
