Clever’s struggles at home continued Wednesday, as the Jays dropped a 70-41 decision to Aurora.
Clever is 1-24 at home dating back to the 2020-21 season and halted a 17-game home losing streak earlier this season.
Lane Mendenhall topped the Jays with 13 points.
Aurora (5-16) stopped its losing streak at three games. The Houn’ Dawgs received 18 points from Trandan Darnall and 17 from Daunte Floyd.
Earlier this week, Clever (3-18) was tabbed the No. 7 seed for Class 3 District 12, to be played at Diamond. The Jays will play No. 2 seed Lamar (8-15) in the first round.
The District’s No. 1 seed is Stockton 13-8. Southwest (15-3) is No. 3, East Newton (7-16) No. 4, Sarcoxie (11-11) No. 5 and Diamond (6-17) No. 6.
