Eric Johnson, Ozark city administrator, has released a statement in response to the Ozark Special Road District's announcement that they were suspending their road share agreement with the City of Ozark, effective Monday, Dec. 1.
"We understand that OSRD is exercising its right to terminate the IGA and respect that. We are carefully evaluating the impact of that decision," Johnson said. "In the interim, we will continue to work with our local partners to ensure that services are being provided and that we remain responsive to constituent needs.”
On Nov. 24, the Ozark Special Roads District (OSRD) released a statement announcing that they were suspending their road share agreement with the City of Ozark, effective Monday, Dec. 1. The OSRD said in their statement that they were suspending the agreement because they believed the city wasn't requiring developers to adhere to certain standards when beginning construction projects.
