Nixa broke away from Mountain Grove in the second half of its 87-50 Gold Division second-round triumph at the Blue & Gold Tournament on Wednesday.
The Eagles held only a 38-32 lead late in the second quarter, but enjoyed a 26-7 run in the third quarter to gain a 64-39 advantage.
This was a rematch of the 2017 Blue Division championship game, which Mountain Grove won 68-65.
This is the fifth straight year Nixa has made it to the semifinal round.
The No. 1-seeded Eagles (7-3) had five players reach double-figure scoring.
Devon Kemp topped the winners with 16 points, while Adam McKnight netted 15, Randy Flint and Garrett Hines both added 11 and Jackson Cantwell contributed 10.
Nixa advances to semifinal action at 7 p.m. Thursday against Fair Grove (7-2), a 51-47 second-round winner over Rogersville on Wednesday.
This will be the third straight season and fourth time in seven years Nixa and Fair Grove have met at the Blue & Gold.
