SPRINGFIELD — Sadie Conway poured in 20 points to power Nixa past Strafford 71-56 in a White Division second-round game at the Pink & White Tournament on Thursday.
It was the fist matchup between Nixa and Strafford since the Lady Indians beat the Lady Eagles at the Pink & White two years ago.
No. 2-seeded Nixa’s winning effort also includes Brooke Teter scoring 16 points, Taylor Wood 11 and Laila Grant 10.
Nixa (8-2) has won six straight.
The Lady Eagles move on to play Marshfield (7-2) in a semifinal at 5 p.m. Friday. The Lady Jays beat Skyline 58-40 Thursday.
A year ago, Nixa beat the Lady Jays 58-43.
Ozark falls to Kickapoo
Ozark dropped its second-round matchup against Kickapoo 50-32 Thursday.
The Lady Tigers received eight points from Josey Roberts.
