OCH Sparta Clinic offering Back-To-School immunizations

Sparta, Mo. — Ozarks Community Hospital's rural health clinics offer back-to-school immunizations each year, including at its Sparta clinic located at 155 Village Drive, Sparta, Mo. 65753. Now is the best time to schedule an appointment for your child to get prepared for the first day of school for Sparta R-III on Monday, Aug. 24th.

According to Missouri law, children entering kindergarten must show proof of the following immunizations, unless afforded a religious or medical exemption:

• At least 4 doses of DTaP
• At least 3 doses of Polio
• 2 doses of MMR
• 3 doses of Hepatitis B
• 2 doses of Varicella

The following booster shots are required for students in middle and high school:

• 8th Grade: one dose of Tdap & one dose of MCV
• 12th Grade: second dose of MCV
