Nixa High School DECA students recently competed at the DECA State Career Development Conference in Kansas City, MO on March 23-25. In order to compete at the state level, students must first qualify at the district level. Nixa High School’s DECA chapter earned the opportunity to advance to the International Career Development Conference and represent Missouri. The competition involves a combination of a written component such as an exam or report and an interactive component with an industry professional serving as a judge.
