Mrs. Vonnie Jewell Merritt, 98, Billings, died April 5, 2014, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield. She was born Sept.13, 1915, in Jamestown, the daughter of George and Amy Currin.
As a homemaker, Jewell enjoyed caring for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren; and a daughter, Ora Johnson.
She was survived by her four children, Rolla Merritt, Stanley Merritt, Nancy Cutbirth, and Drusilla Wheeler; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other extended family, and friends.
