Christian County Lions Club is hosting a shred event on Saturday, May 2, from 10 am - Noon at the Price Cutter Store in Nixa, Mo. This is an excellent opportunity to safely dispose of documents with sensitive information. There is no cost. If offered, we will gratefully accept a donation, but there is no cost.
The process is simple: collect your sensitive documents and bring them to the Price Cutter in NIXA, MO (Address: 400 N Massey Blvd - near Nixa Library). We will unload the documents into a bin, then Big Bear Shredding will grind them up on the spot. The event ends at noon or whenever the truck fills up. Papers and staples are fine but please no large metal "alligator" clips, binders, or thick cardboard.
Christian County Lions Club is a community service organization. Our motto is "We Serve". We provide eyesight and hearing services to our neighbors in need, scholarships for graduating HS seniors, and various projects to keep our environment clean, safe, and healthy. This is a great opportunity to dispose of unneeded tax documents, do some Spring cleaning, and safely dispose of sensitive material.
