Maliya Clark and the Clever girls’ 4 x 400 relay topped the Lady Jays’ finishers at the Class 3 State Track Meet over the weekend.
Clark finished fourth in the 300 hurdles (15.91), while the first-place time was 14.69.
Clark was seventh in the prelims with a 16.07.
The Lady Jays’ 4 x 400 relay also finished fourth with a 4:09.43. The winning time was 4:06.47. Clever was sixth in the prelims (4:12.73).
Clark finished sixth in the triple jump with a distance of 33-7 1/4. The first-place mark was 37-6 3/4.
Clark took ninth in the long jump with a leap of 17-8 1/4. The winning mark was 18-3.
Clark was 13th in the pole vault (9-3 3/4).
Clever’s Jayleign Flood placed sixth in the 400 (59.64). The winning time was 57.75. Flood was seventh in the prelims (1:00.25).
Flood finished ninth in the 100 (12.77). The winning time was 12.16.
Flood was 12th in the 200 (26.42). The winning time was 25.35.
The Lady Jays’ Rylee Lansdown finished 13th in the 300 hurdles (49.88).
As for Clever’s boys, Xavier Robinson finished 11th in the high jump with a leap of 6-0.
