WEST PLAINS — Clever’s Maliya Clark qualified for State in four events during Class 3 Sectional 3 action Saturday.
Clark claimed a gold medal in the triple jump (34-33/4). She recorded a second-place finish in the long jump (16-83/4) and pole vault (9-31/2) and a third in the 100 hurdles (16.21).
The Lady Jays’ Jayleign Flood was second in the 400 (59.80) and third in the 100 (12.77).
Clever’s 4 x 400 relay of Riley Britton, Kiersten Maddox, Rylee Lansdown and Flood broke their own school record while finishing second in 4:10.10 to El Dorado Springs’ 4:08.65.
Lansdown finished third in the 300 hurdles (48.95).
On the boys side, the Jays’ Xavier Robinson placed fourth in the high jump (5-103/4).
